Here is a place for your projects which are not officially supported by the Porteus Team. For example: your own kernel patched with extra features; desktops not included in the standard ISO like Gnome; base modules that are different than the standard ISO, etc...

Yeah, 4.12 is definitely faster. But I found out that on 4.16 disabling vsync in the compositor (and keeping it enabled on the driver) makes the experience much better -- especially after another bug that was fixed related to performance!
Do you know how to enable vsync on AMD's driver? If so, I can send you a 4.16 module for testing

I saw yesterday on enabling vsync via /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-amdgpu.conf.....haven't tried it yet. Is there another way? I know very little about AMD graphics.
Sure, I'd like to test a 4.16, breaking things comes natural to me.......still working on the fixing part.
