rava, I would request you to use night curfew in your place, to effectively deploy a USM like package manager for Porteus-current. Without one such program, Porteus- slackware becomes user unfriendly as individuals can not add their favourite programs.
Otherwise it is time to step up main streaming arch base Porteus nemisis, which can be modernized. Pman, there could build packages.
Another suggestion is to build Porteus with all WMs in optional folder, with base booting to openbox. neko has implemented this in his multi offering. (9 WMs in all)
