Nice to see progress, thanks for the work!
One thing, wouldn't it be possible to have gtk+2 still in the KDE version, there are still quite some apps that need it, like filezilla, etc? Now I had to extract it out of the openbox version

gtk2 is available via menu/system/bundles for the DEs that don't include it. 
can also be got from slackware current via getpkg
