Hello there
I am currently running porteus on my laptop. I want to dual boot it with elementary OS so I would like to burn the ISO file to a USB. I am having a lot of trouble doing so so any help would be greatly appreciated

Burning ISO to USB
Are you following the steps in the USB_INSTALLATION.txt file in the ISO?
Formatting the USB drive as FAT32, copying the ISO files to the USB drive then running the Porteus-installer in the USB's boot folder works for me.

Hey Ed
I believe you replied with the assumption that I am installing porteus. But I already have it on my hdd. I want to burn another iso file on the USB but can't seem to do it. Please see if you could help me more
Thanks

Your right Jovian I didn't understand your request and until burdi01 posted I was still confused. To copy the ISO to the USB drive a simple cp or mv command should work but you want a bootable ISO on the USB drive.
