The controversial Dezor browser is now also available as an Appimage

Download Appimage:

added an updated link for the gimp appimages: https://github.com/ivan-hc/GIMP-appimag ... continuous
the old one had stopped updating some time ago.
also added: https://software.manjaro.org/appimages to the 'AppImages Download Sites' list
it's a pretty basic a-z page with no categories, but seems quite extensive..

I looked one up: https://software.manjaro.org/appimage/a ... Tool-Libre
And there is only the link to https://github.com -> https://github.com/aphototool/A-Photo-T ... e/releases
browsing that gives https://github.com/aphototool/A-Photo-T ... 4.AppImage
Added in 5 minutes 18 seconds:
Has anyone experience with these:
https://software.manjaro.org/appimage/A ... mageUpdate
https://software.manjaro.org/appimage/p ... pimagepoolAppImageUpdate updates AppImages based on the update information embedded in AppImages.
https://software.manjaro.org/appimage/a ... app-outletSimple AppImageHub Client Top Features: FLOSS and non profit app Simple categories Download from github directly, no extra-server involved Upgrade and Downgrade appimages easily Version History and multi download support Fast downloader Note : Some features are not implemented yet.

@Rava :-
I've been using AppImages for years. I was probably one of the early adopters, some 7 or 8 years ago when they began to appear in general circulation.
Normally, you just set them to executable, then click on them to fire 'em up.However, doing that in Porteus 5.0 KDE simply brings up a window asking what application you want to use to open them with.....which is NOT how they're supposed to work. You CAN run them from the terminal, though...

Found an interesting article tree called exec packages for linux (appimage, snap, flatpak) on the https://forum.palemoon.org
The most interesting part of that thread is: some folks claim the GPL forbids you using GPL licenced parts and mix these with non-free parts creating an app image, while others disagree on that; or that by re-licensing all under the GPL when parts have not been GPL by the original creator you are breaking licenses. I am by far no expert on such legal matters but maybe some of you are interested in the arguments hence my above link for your convenience.

Just as heads up, I like that security feature of LosslessCut very much:
(highlighting by me)root@rava:/mnt/sdb3/video/DVD_edit# /mybin/LosslessCut-linux-x86_64-3.56.0.AppImage youtv/2017-06-21_test_hd.mp4
[1007/062141.645202:FATAL:electron_main_delegate.cc(294)] Running as root without --no-sandbox is not supported. See https://crbug.com/638180.
