Bootable USB for Celeron N4100 CPU mini PC
"CHUWI GBox" is one of N4100 CPU mini PC, and its price is cheap.
But not all of EFI bootable USB boot on the mini PC.
Updated "live-usb" tool will build the bootable USB for this PC.
"spm-19.05.19-noarch-1.xzm" includes the updated "live-usb" tool.
spm-19.05.19-noarch-1.xzm (2.9 M)

md5sum: 0ddedba76da41c9cdfce2397d3948e2b spm-19.05.19-noarch-1.xzm
Note:
32 bit Porteus cann't run on "CHUWI GBox".
Thanks.

'Does this work with "regular" Porteus ISOs or just your ISOs neko?'
--->
It will work with both Porteus and APorteus.
If you need some tuning, please edit /boot/grub/grub.cfg of USB partition 2.
Note:
This USB will be built to boot on both EFI PC and BIOS PC.
Maybe, on other EFI PC than "CHUWI GBox" too, this USB can boot.
But the booting on BIOS PC is not tested.
Thanks.

UEFI Boot Confusion [Solved]
I don't know this article.
I built a bootable USB by old version "live-usb" tool of APorteus.(old USB)
This old USB didn't boot on "CHUWI GBox" PC.
I don't know if this old USB doesn't boot on any "Gemini Lake Celeron N4100 CPU" PCs.
I don't know the reason why this old USB doesn't boot on "CHUWI GBox" PC.
I searched on network.
And I got the the information that "bootia32.efi & bootx64.efi" of debian ISO are useful for this PC.
I built an EFI USB with these ".efi"s. (new USB)
This new USB booted on "CHUWI GBox" PC.
I updated "live-usb" tool.
EFI data are set from "debian ISO".
BIOS bootable USB and EFI bootable USB are integrated.
ISO is not expanded. ISO is copied into USB. (using the cheatcode "from=..iso")
Thanks.

The .efi files from Ubuntu support booting without disabling the EFI Secure Boot function. Do the Debian files support that also?
I suspect Windows is unable to access the USB's EFI partition, is that true?

Please try to use this new "live-usb" tool for your PC.
You can know more detail on the new USB by yourself.
And then, please report the result.
Your report will be very helpful for me to improve the tool.
Thanks.

I think that Ubuntu, Knoppix, Redhat and some others have the microsoft-approved key. Not sure if Debian goes for that....

@nanZor
Thank you for your information.
My PC is set as "Secure Boot" off.
"Secure Boot" is not used.
At power on, I type "del" key to enter PC firmware.
Then set "Secure Boot" off, save it and exit.
Almost I don't have used WINDOWS.
I don't know what is "Secure Boot" exactly.
Thanks.

Secure boot is a misnomer really. But in our context, many distributions have $igned keys that allow them to boot if "secure boot" is enabled, and the user doesn't have to do anything with the bios if they want to install linux to it. Ubuntu and Knoppix come to mind. Like the old days.
However, many "mini-pc's" and other small computers these days may have it disabled by default, and it is up to the user to turn it on if they wish. A strange reversal of how it initially was!

[BUG]
Now I am debugging the "live-usb" tool.
"live-usb" tool of spm-19.05.19-noarch-1.xzm is used only for "CHUWI GBox".
Especially it has bug for BIOS bootabl ISO creating.
Now I cann't use "CHUWI GBox" PC.
I will be able use "CHUWI GBox" PC on September.
This bug will be fixed at the time.
Thanks.
