Adding the Vorbis Codec
Porteus Kiosk has the latest Citrix Receiver (13.9). However, it uses the PCM Codec for HDX Audio. Citrix marks this with a Warning: Codec PCM is not optimized to reduce bandwidth usage. Update client to a version that supports optimized codecs. Virtual channel priority should be set to RealTime (it's set to High). Vorbis is the currently preferred codec for HDX Audio.

Adding the Vorbis Codec
Hi David,
We are using official Receiver bundle from the Citrix website. Not sure if adding libvorbis to the system is enough.
Would be great if you could associate one of your kiosks with my PK Server (this would give me direct SSH and VNC access to your PC) and provide exac instruction how to recreate this warning.
If this is possible then please contact [email protected] and link this forum thread.
Thank you.
