MPV Media Player
I just try MPV and it plays my The Beatles - 24Bit FLAC (Digital Remaster) and they plays great. I will try playing video or movie next.
I just like Slackware because I think it teach you about Linux to build packages where Ubuntu is like Windows you just install programs you want.

Is there away to remove sub title out of the movie?

have a look at the popup bar at the bottom of the screen> right hand side, symbol just left of the volume symbol> click on it
