I wanted to install the latest version google-chrome .

How i can upgrade nss-until ?

the package you need is called mozilla-nss and it looks like it's just been upgraded in slackware patches repo to v. 3.31..

Hi,
i´ve been using the kde-flavour porteus for some days now and i´m pretty happy how it works.
I ran into the same issue the thread opener experienced when upgrading to the lastest opera 48 module.
I tried to download the new mozilla-nss-package with usm but keep geeting the following error:
any ideas whats going wrong there?

apollo, open USM > Settings > Edit Salix mirror > Edit > Clear all lines and paste this url http://mirrors.xmission.com/salix/x86_6 ... ware-14.2/ and press Save.
Close and open USM. Open tab Updates > Update all repositories.
After successful updating database of USM - close and open again USM. Now you can search what you want.
Or, if need, you can manually download this package mozilla-nss-3.31.1-x86_64-1_slack14.2.txz

thank you for your reply.
On my first attemp installing the module i switched to an uk mirror for salix as the default mirror seems to be down. I tried the mirror you mentioned, but the error remains the same.
Downloaded the package manually and converted it to a porteus module, now everything is fine and Opera 48 is running.
