Here you can post about the issues related to modifications performed manually (not through the kiosk wizard). Example: swapped kernel, added 3rd party modules or files.
Please describe in detail what has been changed and hopefully other kiosk user will be able to help.
Porteus team wont resolve bugs posted in this category as we support only modifications made by the kiosk wizard.

Hello all, and thanks proactively for any help. My google foo must be off today because I am stunned I can't find and answer to this...
I've been using Porteus in Kiosk mode for years, but now trying to configure a printer and follow:
HOWTO:Setting up a printer on porteus with a ppd
And the fisrt step is:
1) On the panel menu: porteus menu > system > printing will lead you to the system-config-printer gui.
And I have never seen a Porteus menu other than the Ctrl-Alt-Del one...
Is there a keyboard shortcut or something I can't find regardless of my searching?
Please don't tell me it is only in "Thin Client" mode...
The printer I am adding is actually the example one in the thread, a Brother HL-2300W which is now a couple years old and yet not in the 4.4.0 default list.

that tutorial is for the standard porteus, not the kiosk version, which i gather, you're using.
