Here you can post about the issues related to modifications performed manually (not through the kiosk wizard). Example: swapped kernel, added 3rd party modules or files.
Please describe in detail what has been changed and hopefully other kiosk user will be able to help.
Porteus team wont resolve bugs posted in this category as we support only modifications made by the kiosk wizard.

I am attempting to use kiosk on an intel compute stick with an x5-z8330 cpu. The supplied kernel has a bug affecting this cpu, and I'd like to update it.
I've followed the instructions on
http://www.porteus.org/tutorials/51-dev ... ernel.html but the vm boots to the splash screen with the cursor in the middle. I get an error about the gateway is not available and it stops.
I even filled out the custom builds form but got no answer
can anyone give insight?

the computer stick still able to run?
if yes you can pay for automatic update for this device
or wait for porteus kiosk have a new version.
maybe google it?
