Porteus Live Mate : no browser? no package manager?

Brokenman moved over to update-firefox as the porteus module was out of date every two weeks with security releases and updates from Mozilla....

An obvious text/script file on the desktop is only adding 1k to each ISO rather than adding a outdated 50mb module.

That's how i was looking at it.

Yeah, from the point of view of advanced users I totally agree with you. The problem is with the other guys who don't know anything about configurations or don't have interest in knowing about it. I'm afraid this group is bigger than the one with advanced users.

I think that Timmi has tried to install the Linux Ubuntu browser. He did not tried update-firefox from command line. His internet provider did not seem reliable and fast.

you should give the dude a direct modules cuz hes kid will lost in linux treminal just feel the guy 64bit modules 32bit modules
just download what u like then copy and past to /mnt/sdb4/porteus/modules
hope u have fun and always porteus is the best choice believe me i was just like u in the beginning
