Welcome to Porteus. Up/Down arrow keys should normally work AFAIK. To edit Tab key. Otherwise please refer to

That gave the wrong impression. Now you are giving a correct description of the problem. So you are able to work on a desktop? Which desktop is it?

You are working with porteus version 3.1, the actual supported version is 3.2.2:

That is a standard Porteus menu on a BIOS based boot, via porteus.cfg file.
In my case that menu doesn't appear. When I start the system firstly black screen with text appears, then loading screen and finally desktop. When i press TAB key nothing happen.
What are you using to boot with on your system? Is your system a UEFI system?

I downloaded last version (3.2.2 KDE). I don't use uefi (I have old laptop). Boot menu still doesn't appear. At the begining this screen:

appears. I press enter, and then system boot normally (black screen with text, loading screen and dekstop).
