Chakra linux is using 'bundles' - an idea similar to slax's modules:

tried 'filezilla' and got this:
"freezone Desktop # file filezilla-3.5.0-1-x86_64.cb
filezilla-3.5.0-1-x86_64.cb: Squashfs filesystem, little endian, version 4.0, 12598157 bytes, 746 inodes, blocksize: 262144 bytes, created: Mon May 23 19:40:42 2011"
not sure which compression is used but i presume it's lzma2 (most reasonable choice atm).
