Here is a place for your projects which are not officially supported by the Porteus Team. For example: your own kernel patched with extra features; desktops not included in the standard ISO like Gnome; base modules that are different than the standard ISO, etc...

@neko, i'm wondering if the broadcom blacklist files should be removed, since they're really only needed for the proprietry broadcom wl driver, which isn't included anymore.. (although some of the kernel builtins for broadcom require proprietry firmware to work anyway)
that's these files:
Code: Select all
usr/local/share/mkKernel/lib/upkernel/base/000-kernel/etc/modprobe.d/b43_blacklist.conf
usr/local/share/mkKernel/lib/upkernel/base/000-kernel/etc/modprobe.d/broadcom_blacklist.conf

What about users with older hardware?

Thank you.
boot smoothly without problems. turns modules on and off.
It keeps appearing that bug in the nouveau module since version 5.11, which apparently does not cause damage.

@babam
I will try when ready.
But now AUFS patch is not ready for kernel 5.15-rc1.
And it ,that was built without the patch (overlay mode),
was booted
but not started on Porteus nor APorteus.
Thanks.

Thanks.
