Ok, try kmap=tg.
Finally back on Porteus 4.0. When I Iook in the /etc/X11/xkb/symbols folder I see two different sets of symbols! Some are a C and some at a sheet of paper. Both sets open when dbl clicking on them and display text but the text is vastly different between them.

[SOLVED] cheatcodes not working on porteus.cfg
I solved my problem by using another way : rootcopy folder which is well explained here : https://www.porteus.org/tutorials/26-ge ... ctory.html. If you create folder structure of "rootcopy/usr/bin/" and put a shell script which includes
#!/bin/sh
setxkbmap tr
code in it my problem solved. Next boot my keyboard layout changed to tr perfectly.
In addition, while I tried both "cliexec" and "guiexec" cheatcodes also did not work for me (as explained in https://www.porteus.org/tutorials/26-ge ... -them.html). Maybe there is a trick to use them...
I loved Porteus since it is very flexible to solve problems by using different alternatives !

Your cheatcode problems have got to be tied to how you're booting the USB drive. And BTW a cheatcode writeup can also be found in the USB's /boot/docs/ folder.
