Revisiting Porteus

I am revisiting Porteus after many months. I was most impressed with its speed of booting but disappointed at the available browsers not being up to date. If I download Porteus again from the site that allows me to select various Porteus options will it be any different from the one I downloaded in June? Are the browsers still old rather than recently upgraded

Update to rc5 (See announcements), and use the update scripts. e.g. As superuser

I have done this with the previous release but don't understand why recent browsers cannot be included in the pick and mix Porteus download.

Only one developper, small team of contributors, small distribution. Join us and give back to porteus. We are not enough to do more. 8)

Porteus update-browser is a feature of porteus 3.2 slackware. Thus responding to the need you express.
