Auto login and Auto run

Can I add a cheat code to auto login and auto run (slim) on text mode? This something I like to try if it can be done.

Code: Select all

LABEL text
MENU LABEL Text mode
KERNEL vmlinuz
APPEND initrd=initrd.xz changes=EXIT:/porteus/porteussave.dat 3
rem APPEND initrd=initrd.xz 3
Run Porteus in text mode and
    start the command prompt only
I just like Slackware because I think it teach you about Linux to build packages where Ubuntu is like Windows you just install programs you want.

auto login and auto run (slim) on text mode?
This sounds to me like booting into runlevel 4 (GUI) and not text mode. There are ways to autologin when booting into text mode. But as soon as you run slim you are booting into a GUI. You might as well just remove the 3 from the cheatcode and it will automatically run slim.
How do i become super user?
Wear your underpants on the outside and put on a cape.
