Porteus is proud of the FASTEST KDE ever made.....(take akonadi, nepomuk and soprano out and you will have a decent OS).

Useful as an educational tool. What do you use it for Wread?
How do i become super user?

-For civil engineers is a valuable tool. You can visit a future project site without traveling to it 8),

-You can draw a path on the map and get a cross section of the surface, plus the distances, coordinates and elevations...,

-Have you ever seen the opposite side of the moon? Try it with GE: you will be surprised: The Moon is our planet defender! It catches meteorites that otherwise would hit the Earth!,

-GE is a convenient real time whether station, too; just select the corresponding button in the left panel..

-You can find an address in any for you unknown city, and make your plan how to reach it, or get a hotel near it..

-If you are an amateur pilot you will know how to approach the landing facilities before the air traffic controllers tell you what to do,

-if you have a yacht you can navigate to any port virtually, befor you get to there...

-and...and...
