I have not tried it. This is because of the performance issue. XFCE uses Gtk. My use of LXQT is only as a pathway to EDE.

Re: Favourite Desktop Forum Poll ?
Can you find a halfway decent looking screenshot of EDE? Something that doesn't look reminiscent of 1995? I know the bells and whistles don't really bother you but I was just wondering if anyone has gotten it to look ok.
Second question. What would a user do in the case of wanting a third party application (bleachbit for example)? Most recent GUI apps require gtk/Qt. Isn't the choice of application severely limited by removing gtk and Qt?

I guess I will have time to reach out to the EDE guys to get them to consider NTK ( FLTK + Cairo) instead of FLTK
(see... http://non.tuxfamily.org/e-517eedad832f11.95473617.png )
or... just throw EDE under the bus and create a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xlib/ XCB ... DirectFB ... Fox toolkit ... Desktop metaphor using PekWM ... Xfe ... Qingy and Bar (by Lemonboy) for starters.
should be primarily limited to the Desktop metaphor instead of applications because of that.

The short answer is no. However... now that I put Firmware: BADUSB behind me (it cost $1000 USD...I was just wondering if anyone has gotten it to look ok.

The short answer is correct. However... the choice of a lightweight toolkit interface (or lack thereof in the case of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xlib/ XCB )Isn't the choice of application severely limited by removing gtk and Qt?

I do not have XFCE performance issues (I don't use it)... I'm saying ALL things Gtk/Qt have performance issues (such as... Code bloat ).

Yep... Non is the real deal. It's not Gtk/Qt bloated like Rosegarden.

And it's part of the Slackware pantheon... thanks to our friends @ Studioware.

@ Evan...
The last EDE commit was in December...
(see... https://sourceforge.net/p/ede/code/3601/ )
The package is in the USM...
(see... http://slakfinder.org/show.php?pkg=630360 )
Pls Note: Last Friday I did an IPS build which uses LXQT/ PekWM .
Sometime this week... I should have a EDE / PekWM version.
However... ultimately I will make a pure PekWM ... Xfe ... Qingy... and Bar (by Lemonboy) Desktop environment ...

EDE has to be configured to deprecate LXQT in 003-lxqt.xzm... it's not a drop-in module package.
