Just created a module from vivaldi-stable-1.0.435.42-1.x86_64.rpm (including the missing libwidevinecdm.so) and it runs okay with x86-64 Porteus.
Anyone interested in the module? Then I would upload it somewhere.

I'm not exactly sure of the clear advantage of converted vs native.
However... it seems native would likely be more compatible.
The SlackOnly repository maintains regularly updated "NATIVELY" compiled packages for Slackware that can be downloaded
from the Porteus USM using it's automated dependency resolution... conversion and merge options.
(see "vivaldi"... http://webwarper.net/ww/~av/slakfinder. ... e=#results )
