Anyone can provide a link or method to get latest chrome/firefox builds for i486 porteus?
Couldn't find anything new in USM (everything updated).

Chromium i486:
http://www.slackware.com/~alien/slackbu ... 1alien.txz
Download the .txz in /porteus/modules and right click on it to convert it into a .xzm module. Then doulble click it to activate the module.
Enjoy.

if someone need the current stable Firefox build, just make this:
run this script:
https://gist.github.com/ruario/9672798
This script will find the latest Firefox binary package, download it and repackage it into Slackware format
Convert the downloaded package in module from USM
is all
we can select the language of firefox to download editing the language code in the line 73 of script.
btw, ruario's in github have some other interesting scripts, for chrome, skype, vivaldi, etc
firefox 66.0.4 i686 (spanish) module

I've used the Porteus Browser Tool, where the porteus server version is 63.0.3 and the last version is 67.0b18, I guess the update-firefox command make the same, or not?
the last porteus server version is not the last stable, the last version is the last dev version heh

I always use the ESR version so I manually download it and put it in the /tmp folder before starting the update-firefox tool. That approach should work for you too. I've never been a fan of the latest beta option.
