Hey
I wanted to use Porteus Kiosk on the Intel Compute Stick (STCK1A32WFC), but WiFi is not recognized at all. To me it looks like it's an issue with the RTL8723AE-BT wireless card that is used in the Compute Stick: http://askubuntu.com/questions/139632/w ... recognized Unfortunately the Dropbox link doesn't work anymore.
Has anybody here had any success with Porteus and the Intel Compute Stick?

Re: Wifi on Intel Compute Stick
Hello ansu,
Must be missing firmware issue. Please use wired connection (you will need ethernet USB adapter) -> enable debug mode in the wizard and send me generated report on support@porteus-kiosk.org.
If you dont have USB adaprot then you could boot Ubuntu live CD on the stick, download and run script from here:
http://porteus-kiosk.org/public/files/debug.sh
then me generated system report (it will be saved in /tmp folder).
Thank you.
