Change to Forum suggestion

I wish the forum webpages wouldn't loose the View Active Topics link when one signs on. To that end I suggest changing the

User Control Panel (0 new messages) • View your posts 

header to be:

Code: Select all

User Ctrl Panel (0 new msgs) • View your posts • View Active Topics

or

Code: Select all

User Control Panel (0 new msgs) • Your posts • Active Topics

Can this be done?

Yes, but it's only there when you 1st signon. After looking at a posting it's gone.

Yes, I have it bookmarked, but that means everything I want to use it after viewing a posting I have to go to bookmarks to use it rather than simply having it at the top of the webpage.

It's not a question of capability, it's a question of convenience.

In your case "it is gone", in my case "never been in that area of webpage". You just want duplicate of link.

I generally wanted to say "change manually address for example from viewtopic.php?f=53&t=4286&sid=xxxxxxxxxxblahblahblah to search.php?search_id=active_topics&sid=xxxxxxxxxxblahblahblah in browser's address bar" but I was to lazy to type it all. This way it's definitely longer.

AFAIK..one can have more than 1 Tab open...read..rightclick the "View active topics" link >
open in a new TAB > problem solved
(same if you want to read a topic)

Heretic! More than one tab in browser! Unbelievable.
No, main idea of this thread is "I want this page be accessible from anywhere on the forum in one click".
Currently it is accessible in two clicks: Board index -> View active topics.

Now on important part: how much do we get if we collect all cents scattered across the board?
