How to format in porteus.

So my porteus is running from ram, and now i want to format my usb to ext filesystem, and then reinstall porteus on it. How do i format the usb?

program called gparted do formatting, it is installed by default in xfce, cant find it in kde

kde partition manager can do formatting in kde, its installed by default

hi or you have to check the name of device via fdisk -l ,in console after this: mkfs.ext4 name of device,you can do all you want via console so make the filesystem too
