Possibly there is an issue with the FireWall .
I have a 64-bit XFCE build with changes active (i.e. Saving everything)
If I turn on the FireWall under Porteus Settings Centre, this results in an edit to the file /etc/rc.d/rc4.d/S-firewall.sh
As one would expect, this then gets saved across a reboot
BUT .. if I subsequently turn off the FireWall from Porteus Settings Centre, the file does not seem to get edited.
As a result, the FireWall remains active
... well it does for me anyway. I have had to edit the S-firewall.sh file to /etc/rc.d/rc.FreWall stop
Or am I doing something wrong?
Cheers John
Possible problem with FireWall with Changes Active?
