Question about Skype (or modules in general)

One reason I never install Skype on Windows is because it seems to make all sorts of changes to my system's settings.

I'm now using Porteus on a USB, and am wondering: If I do this...

1) copy "08-skype.xzm" into /porteus/base/
2) restart
3) use Skype for awhile
4) delete "08-skype.xzm"
5) restart

... will Skype have made any changes to my Porteus settings (touched anything in the existing filesystem)? Or does everything run inside of 08-skype.xzm?

using the copy2ram or fresh mode the system can't change anything,and skype follow this rule,only if you use the changes folder something can change.
