Greeings!
I am having a devil of a time trying to locate and grab 32bit Slackware Seamonkey 2.33 to convert to a Porteus module (it uses latest Flash that current Portrus SM 2.20 can't do) . I Googled for one like crazy and all I get are super-techie sites like http://download.cdn.mozilla.net/pub/moz ... ases/2.33/ and http://packages.slackware.com/ and http://r.duckduckgo.com/l/?kh=-1&uddg=h ... .asc.meta4 that are either trying to push patches on you that you've no clue how to use and don't need, or lead you into techie dead-ends. I'd so REALLY appreciate any leads for a simple path to get seamonkey 32bit Slackware to convert!
Thanks for any hints!

2.32.1 seems to be latest Slackware: http://pkgs.org/download/seamonkey
P.S. I normally run seamonkey from a folder

Thanks for the lead but I've been warned that pkgs.org and others like it also install unnecessary junk and malware along with the file you want. Are there any other "pure download" sources? Thanks!Bogomips wrote:2.32.1 seems to be latest Slackware: http://pkgs.org/download/seamonkey

Re: Flustered trying to get latest Slackware Seamonkey 2.33
as Bogomips says: usm
http://packages.slackware.com/ is pretty straight forward > search>find>download ('patches' doesn't mean you have to apply any)
its the same package usm grabs
"been warned that pkgs.org and others like it also install unnecessary junk and malware"
seems unlikey, they just redirect to official mirrors... dont know about 'others like it'..
granted that direct web downloads are less safe than package manager...

Thanks! I managed to swing it and will try to upload Seamonkey 32.1 module to the PorteusApps blog which is giving me fits to use to upload the others.ncmprhnsbl wrote:as Bogomips says: usm
