NVidia proprietary driver?

Post#1 by Archybaldos » 16 Mar 2015, 10:23

HI
I have a problem: with great difficulty kiosk displays a page with flash. Nvidia graphics card on mainboard. I can get a solution to the problem if I use the proprietary driver? how to connect it?
Thanks!

Installing modules in porteus kiosk:
http://porteus-kiosk.org/kiosk-customization.html
http://porteus-kiosk.org/modules.html

32 bit nvidia:
http://dl.porteus.org/i486/current/drivers/
64 bit nvidia:
http://dl.porteus.org/x86_64/current/drivers/

Maybe your should test the nvidia driver under porteus desktop first. Then install the module into the porteus kiosk hybrid iso.

@Archybaldos
please contact me through support@porteus-kiosk.org and i'll deliver kiosk config + aufs patch so you can recreate kernel sources and compile nVidia driver against them.
Please add [Solved] to your thread title if the solution was found.
