We run the
Concerto digital signage system at my institution. We are revisiting our Player setup and so I purchased a
LIVA BAT-MINI to do some testing. I also ran across Porteus Kiosk edition so I thought I'd give that a try as well since it included UEFI support and the ability to create custom ISO images.
Unfortunately when I attempt to boot the UEFI image I get the
"device not ready yet? delaying 20 seconds message". I assume this is because there is some device driver missing from the image. I have been able to successfully boot Ubuntu 14.04.2.
Here is the output from lspci when running under Ubuntu. I should be capable of compiling adding the modules myself with some basic instructions. Any help would be appreciated. I also have dmesg output and can post that in a separate message. TIA

I did not use rufus to burn the image. I used dd on a Fedora workstation following the directions on the web site.

sorry - in all cases so far it was Rufus which caused troubles.
1) are you booting the kiosk from usb stick?
2) can you give me ssh access to Ubuntu running on this PC? if yes then please send login credentials on
support@porteus-kiosk.org
thank you

I have tried both USB Stick and USB-connected CDROM drive. Ubuntu was booted/installed from the CDROM drive.
I will send you login credentials.
