I tried to put in some xzm file that was shared on the forum for Firefox 35 but it did not work.
Is there a working version of Firefox 35 and newer version of Flash?
I'm trying to run a web-page that is not being supported by the existing versions. The flash version is too old and the firefox version is not supporting the websockets I'm running.
Thanks!

Re: Firefox 35 and Flash for Poreus 3.2
Welcome to porteus egblue.
It would have been nice to you to give more information. What is the link to the module that you have tried?
Which version of porteus are you using, and what desktop environement (kde, xfce, ...)?
Here is the firefox module for porteus 3.1:
http://dl.porteus.org/i486/current/modu ... irefox.xzm
To add flashplayer, use terminal. In root mode use the usm package manager:
The package should be in /tmp/usm. Displace it in the /porteus/modules, where you should have downloaded firefox.
If there is some problem look at threads on flash and porteus (google words flash firefox porteus). Here is one thread:

Re: Firefox 35 and Flash for Poreus 3.2
Thank you for the prompt reply!
I am running the latest version, 3.2. (http://porteus-kiosk.org/public/3.2/Por ... 0-i486.iso)
The firefox module you've included does the same thing, when turning it on it stays in the desktop.
I've attempted to create a new package by downloading the latest version of Firefox and turning it into a module. Did not work either.
Did something in the structure of 3.2 change that warrants a modification in the format?

When it comes to kiosk, usually one of the developpers, fanthom, intervene. He should have a look at this thread.

@egblue
please unsquash 002-firefox.xzm and replace files from /usr/lib/firefox with 35.x release equivalents.
i cant guarantee the result as have not tried never version than 31.x ESR in kiosk. probably mozilla introduced some changes which broke few things ...
(will start worrying about new firefox when new 38.0 ESR is released:https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/o ... tions/faq/)
thank you
