Salutations...
Is it possible to use QtParted instead of GParted as a default in the next release of LxQt/Porteus?
And on a different note... is it possible to also include Unetbootin' in the default menu?
It's not in the repo but can be found here.

Re: Qt centric default for LxQt/Porteus...
this is great idea as Gparted brings a bunch of unnecessary deps. must check if QtParted has the same (or at least similar) number of features first.
if everything goes well QtParted will be introduced in next release - thank you for this suggestion.

Although not a common default utility for distros like GParted...
Unetbootin' performs an important function which is...
...making distros portable. Is it possible to make this a default?

Re: Qt centric default for LxQt/Porteus...
i see no benefit of adding unetbootin by default. we have our own installer and unetbootin can be pulled from the repo if it's necessary.

Yes you are correct. However...I was thinking along the lines of VirtualBox and ISO Master...
having a default utility that like those two... works with all iso's (distros other than just Porteus).
Best Regards...
