[Solved] Pulse Audio 64bit

Post#1 by blue4meridian » 29 Sep 2014, 06:20

Salutations...

I didn't notice Pulse Audio in the repo. I've come across it time and again in my journey to Porteus. My experience is it provides a reliable audio configuration far beyond anything else I've seen. It appears to be the default sound configuration for most 'buntu's. If there is a xzm url and/or link for it I'd like to download it.

Best Regards...

Welcome blue4meridian:

It is available from freestyler's repo or from freestyler thru pkgs.org, see:
http://pkgs.org/slackware-14.1/freestyl ... s.tgz.html

You know about pkgs.org, don't you?

@ francois...

I'm using an AMD 64 APU. That .xzm is 32 bit. I can use it but it requires the compat32 library @ pkgs.org.

Best Regards...

Hi blue4meridian,

Try 08-skype.xzm from here:-
http://ponce.cc/porteus/x86_64/current/modules/

Pulseaudio is included as Skype 4.3 require it.
