Network Manager Error By Unkwn Cause

Greetings All!

For some reason I can't get online with this 32bit Porteus 3.0 stick. Not sure whether due recent CopyAgent upgrade. The boot-up display reads:

porteus login: /usr/sbin/NetworkManager: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libsoftokn3.so: cannot read file data: input/output error

that means corrupted file or filesystem. backup your stick -> reformat it -> copy everything back and run the installer again.

My Bad. I should've explained my situation further. The flash drive operated perfectly normal except it couldn't WiFi due the corrupted file. After chilling out I replaced that file with one from another flash and it runs A-OK now. But that begs the question how'd it get corrupted in the first place, and as always my first fear is that the flash is "wearing out" even though it gets only occasional monthly use over two years now and has a 5-year Kingston warranty.

are we talking about a file or module? i guess it's standalone library in your changes/rootcopy as module would not activate when corrupted.
maybe the stick was unplugged when system was saving something on it? which filesystem type it is? does 'fsck' cheat show some fs inconsistency during boot?
