I have just started using Porteus and don't have a full understanding yet, but I'm getting it. However, I don't know enough to tackle module creation yet.
I always use this as my default printer http://www.cups-pdf.de/ or http://freecode.com/projects/cupspdf.
It would be nice to have as a module.

Re: cups-pdf
Did you tried to fetch it with usm?
Have a look at this old post:
http://forum.porteus.org/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=987
For porteus 3.0 and coming 3.1 cupspdf is found on pkgs.org:
http://pkgs.org/slackware-14.1/rworkman ... /download/
You can produce easily your own module. Just right click txz and convert to xzm.
In addition, I think that libreoffice produces directly pdf files.

Thanks for the link to that old post. I had searched USM, but not the forums. Lesson learned. Works like a charm.
