RIght on the youtube video and select record video.

Anyhow, you can download youtube clips by using http://www.clipconverter.cc/
That site lets you choose which available quality you can download, and even gives the estimated size.
The best thing, when a clip is not available, e,g, you are in Germany and youtube blames GEMA for not giving you the clip, it still would work as download using http://www.clipconverter.cc/

when you are on the youtube site to watch a video,you will see the video address
in the FF address-bar
now simply type "ss" in front of youtube
e.g. "https://www.ssyoutube.com/watch?v=_pqC563bX_w"
(hit enter) to download it for free.

Kino from usm misses some libraries. The good news is that it could be built easily from:
