Huge problem with getting Regnum game working

Hi i just thought i post here about a problem i have with Champions of Regnum http://www.championsofregnum.com/
its a mmorpg for linux mac and windows

Running it on porteus 64-bit, however problem im having is it keeps crashing as soon as i select my character and try to get in to game.
This problem seems to be on every linux dist ive tried so far, why im posting here is that im hoping
someone here have played the game and perhaps knows a fix.

My hardware:
AMD A10 7850
GPU Radeon R7 (Built in the CPU) "also tried with additional Graphic card Radeon 6770 same problem on that one"
16Gb RAM

Seems to be an issue with AMD Radeon drivers, if i use it in failsafe it works

i understand this is a proprietary driver issue. could you check if version 'AMD Catalyst 14.4' works on other distros?
if yes then i could bump this driver in Porteus (if doesnt then this bug is still not fixed).
