porteus.org identity not verified

I have fallen on https with a red line on it a few times recently while accessing porteus thru google searches. The error message is:
Servers certificate does not match the url.

Is this normal or someone is trying to get in my computer by using the porteus website?

I've seen the error also on porteus.org links in Google searches. A little discerning.

The main website does not use SSL so the https: address is not valid. It probably shows up as an old address in google. Nothing to worry about.

The problem is that we have to enter our porteus password. Is it really a problem?

The link is formed wrong. It's pointing to www.porteus.org not forum.porteus.org.

Links into Porteus forum from google or ddg, I'm not sure which, give 'untrusted site': Enter at own risk!

It may be because we are using a self signed certificate. Hamza can you check this out?

The warning appears because the SSL certificate has been signed for "forum.porteus.org" and you're attempting to run it on "www.porteus.org" which is different. Just not use https on our website.

Hamza try this. Open firefox and search in google for 'Porteus forum' then follow the link there. Big warning.
