multiple tabs stalling Firefox on live usb

Hi,
I noticed when I had multiple tabs open for viewing in Firefox Porteus Mate
live usb it started stalling, the cursor would take forever to move one way or the other.
Is this normal or is it my computer's fault?

i would say it's caused by low RAM. maybe you should setup some swap partition?
