Which filesystem works best with SSD?

Re: Filesystem SSD
here are some infos:
Solid-state drive: File systems suitable for SSDs
They state that ext4 is a safe choice.
From Debian-wiki:
Use the ext4 filesytem (the most mature filesystem) unless you have reason not to.

Re: Filesystem SSD
F2FS but do not have the bootloader that manage this filesystem, so ext4 for now it is the better choice

Interesting thread on ssd and porteus:
viewtopic.php?f=62&t=738
Since that time, I have formatted the ssd of my toshiba z930 laptop. 8)
I use ext2. Don't ask me why, I do not remember.

Re: Filesystem SSD
Ext2 is dangerous doesn't have journaling.
In case of improper shutdown can lead to serious errors.

Re: Filesystem SSD
I take your word.
Personnaly I keep my important data out of the computer on an external hdd or on a big usb key.
In the last two years, though I had to close my computer because of porteus freezing many times, there seemed to be no problem. After two years, I had never some problem to reboot. In the worst cases my changes folder became corrupted.
It seems I am lucky.
