There may be something I am missing here, but I think the executable "lupdate" is missing from the qt module or the devel module, not sure which is more appropriate. I believe it is part of the QT Linguist package in other distros
(I'm compiling Qtractor DAW)

Code: Select all
Yes lupdate has been stripped from the QT package. You will need to install the full package for this functionality. THe following has been removed:
assistant
designer
linguist
lupdate
pixeltool
qcollectiongenerator
qdbusviewer
qdoc3
qhelpconverter
qhelpgenerator
qmlplugindump
qmlviewer
qt3to4
qttracereplay
QtDesigner

[SOLVED] lupdate is missing from QT / devel module
Ah, thank you for that!. Somehow I missed the fact that there was a separate qt package in Porteus other than the QT that comes with Razor.
I think I missed it because in PPM, the short description of the qt-4 module when it comes up in the search is wrong - the short description for razor-qt is listed instead

Re: lupdate is missing from QT / devel module
