But what is Apprepo,Appimage
What is it needed for?

Integrates appimage into the system by creating links from the applications:

$ ./Apprepo.AppImage integrate ~/Download/VLC.AppImage

AppImage applications are moved to the "~/Applications" directory
For other actions just run apprepo without parameter and it will list the available parameters.

but when applications are really moved to the "~/Applications" - that poses an issue since ~/Applications is on the RAM disk and when the user not uses changes= cheatcode, then the AppImage would be lost since the RAM disk is not permanent.

roro, when you get along with your AppImages without ever having used Apprepo.AppImage - do not bother with Apprepo.
