Hi,
I have a VM running in porteus and I'd like it to save state on shutdown. The problem is that sometimes it takes longer than 30 seconds to save state, and porteus kills the process before it is able to finish saving. I had a hunt around, but I can't find where the timeout between the term and sigkill (I think that's what is happening) is. 180 seconds or something would be more suitable for me. I don't mind the occasional hang on shutdown. Far better than having a corrupt VM savestate I need to delete afterwards.
Thanks, Ryan

Re: Shutdown process timeout
Sorry. I think I jumped the gun a bit. I had a script to save my vms on shutdown and it had a timeout of 30 seconds set
Thanks, your response helped, it made me look in a different place for where the issue was.
