Re: Module extract not working
Maybe you still have the wrong path
in caja-actions:
/opt/porteus-scripts/fmanager/extract-module
should be:
/opt/porteus-scripts/context-menu/extract-module
There is a fix for that, please update.

Re: Module extract not working
Which DE are you using? KDE4 extracts modules flawlessly...

Porteus is proud of the FASTEST KDE ever made.....(take akonadi, nepomuk and soprano out and you will have a decent OS).

Really?
KDE4 extracts modules flawlessly
So does MATE. It was an error in the path to opt/porteus-scripts/context-menu which was changed in v2.1. This was fixed in the last update. Wread please only post relevant information instead of advertising KDE. I know you love it, but the issue is not which other desktop the OP can use, but rather what is causing the problem in the current desktop ... which is obviously mate because of the category it is posted in.

Re: Module extract not working
that URL of yours is leading nowhere
Which URL?
After downloading the ISO you will need to open PSC and update the system. The changes havn't been merged into the ISO you download.

Yeah I let the domain expire since I am no longer in NZ. It was basically a site showing my hobbies. Magic, messing with wireless electricity experiments and that kind of thing. Most of it linked to youtube videos like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JYWfGBn_d8
