Fanthom has a good point about entering the name into google and seeing how many hits it gets. We don't want to be lost in a see of hits with a name such as SeX. I really like UfoX but ofcourse that would also be lost in space.

Finally Proteus from phantom pleases me quite much. But I think the name has been used already.

We could add a particle, for example PROTEUS GPL, or use the french name without an accent: PROTHEE, or change some letters to get the same sound but withe different letters from beetles to BEATLES, so maybe PROETEUS.

Phoebe is quite good suggestion. I like it better than Phoebex. We could turn it into Foebe. The phebi is a bird, and a real nice one:

we have a phebex in the poll, so changing it to phoebex could be possible. unfortunately phebex got only one vote so probably wont be able to win anyway. Lets focus on Portex or Proteus (coud be changed to ProteuX or ProteOS) - people, please vote!

I think better if the name of disro will be short, light - which sounds well.
And better if it will be intenational word - which could have a sense on any language.
