Hi,
I am now running on a RazorQT-porteus2.1, 64bit and it looks neat!
I noticed that the vncviewer is integrated into that version of Porteus.
However, when I want to start a vncserver, I get:
guest@porteus:/usr/bin$ vncserver
vncserver: couldn't find "/usr/bin/Xvnc".
guest@porteus:/usr/bin$ vncconfig
No VNC extension on display :0.0
However, Tigervncviewer starts nicely.
What do I have to do to get the tigervncserver to run?
64bit porteus 2.1 tigervncserver?

From memory you need to first create a password file with: vncpasswd
Then you can run the server with: x0vncserver --PasswordFile=/home/guest/passwd
When I get to my laptop I will confirm for you.

Re: 64bit porteus 2.1 tigervncserver?
a) I *have* created a password with "vncpasswd".
b) "x0vncserver" seems to be some special VNC server that is linked to the main screen.
This is not what I want.
I want multiple windows in :1 :2 :3 :4 :5 etc.etc. for multiple users etc.etc.
So, what to do?

Re: 64bit porteus 2.1 tigervncserver?
@att -- I had been following instructions you provided several months ago to start vncviewer on my system and ran into similar issues, so I actually stuck with an older version of tigervnc for lxde and xfce. Try adding the lxde or xfce module to .../porteus/optional, boot into razorqt as usual, then activate the lxde or xfce module, then try setting up your vnc. If it works, I'll convert my package to a module and post it for you to download so you don't have to bring the rest of the other desktop module along with it.
the 64-bit lxde/xfce modules can be downloaded from here:

Please take a look at our online documentation, here. Suggestions are welcome!

It should be enough to just copy the Xvnc file from an older version and use vncserver as normal.
