[Solved]How to create users

I'm a totally newbie to Porteus, though experienced user with Ubuntu Linux. That's why when I installed Porteus in my flash drive, I felt that I was missing a lot of standard apps. I want to learn this OS because it is "thin" (uses little memory) and it is fast. But, for starters, I want to create a user with administrative privileges, access the package manager (I get a , dialog asking for user-root- and password) and know how to add (if possible) Ubuntu app repositories to install desired applications. I have a lot more questions, but they will come as I get more familiar with this OS. Thanks for the help.

a) boot with 'login=root' cheatcode to get superuser privileges from start, please also check /boot/docs/cheatcodes.txt as it contains other cheats which may be useful to you
b) adding Ubuntu repositories is not possible

Thanks Fanthom. Will investigate the cheatcode documentation. Still, I would like to know if it is possible to create a different user and be able to choose (either guest or the user) at login.

yes - this is possible although guest and root are hardcoded in porteus settings so i would recommend to stick to one of them.
