virtual box install and cripple sources porteus 2.1 rc2

Post#1 by francois » 27 Jul 2013, 01:40

Just a question like that, as I have tried to install virtualbox with the builder. Have some of you got it working? Where are the crippled sources?

In my case, the modules produced will change xorg.conf and result in the lost of the X environment. I have to remove the modules from the module folder and remove xorg.conf to be able to reboot in X mode. :(

Where are the crippled sources?
as per rc1 changelog:
"- added following packages to the devel module: bison, flex, linuxdoc-tools, nasm, textinfo, yasm, util-macros and crippled-sources"
In my case, the modules produced will change xorg.conf and result in the lost of the X environment.
i have the impression that you are using 'vbox-guest' module on the host machine. please read about the purpose of the guest addon package:

Please add [Solved] to your thread title if the solution was found.
