I think need to replace default wallpaper of Proteus 32 bit.

Requirements.

My variants: 1 2 3 4

Copy slax-wallpaper.jpg to /usr/share/wallpapers/

BTW why a Porteus v09 32bit wallpaper have resolution 1280x800px and a big size (483 Kb) for black background?

Yes, THE SAME as Porteus KDE4... why not? It even looks nice on widescreen monitor.

I think is better to use this bubbles wallpaper - small size ~223 kb, high resolution: 1920x1200, more quality.

I like the blue colour, but not the bubbles. Closer to release i will gather all submissions and have a vote. FOr me it is not too important, i will change it to my own wallpaper on my machine anyway as i am sure most people would.

Porteus suggests "to take it everywhere". The proposed options are not beautiful enough, so I am using Dominican Republic.jpg I found somewhere at kde.org; just right click on your desktop> configure desktop>Get new wallpapers. you will find it. Geschmacksache, sagte der Affe!

This is why i don't think the default wallpaper is important. People will choose what they like. One person hates what another likes.

I will leave the default blue-bend.png desktop as default. It is only 157Kb and of good quality.
