Hi Everyone!
We've been working hard behind the scenes to put update the look and feel of our website! Please take a look, here: http://porteus.org.
We've upgraded our documentation engine (Joomla) and have a new template, and we're working on additional content. There's also a new interface that makes downloading the ISO and additional modules easier and more intuitive for new users.
If you find any errors or broken links, please let us know. You can report your feedback on thread: http://forum.porteus.org/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=1660
We've also added a new field to our user profiles for the forum. This is the "Distribution" field, and it allows you to display which edition/version of Porteus you use. To make changes to this field, simply log in, click on "User Control Panel" at the top of the page, click on the "Profile" Tab, type what you want in the "Distribution:" box, and click "Submit".
A good example would be: 'Porteus 1.2 32-bit TDE', or 'Porteus-XFCE 1.2 64-bit'
Please take a moment and update your profile now. This will help us answer your questions more quickly, since we won't have to ask you for this information :)
We'd like to give a special thanks to Hamza for putting this all together!
Thanks!
A new look for porteus.org
